| Thoughts | We bought our family camera /Pentax mz-10/ in a second hand shop some weeks ago. I like it very much, because as I see it has options for making landscape-portrait-action . . . pictures but we can use it in automatic mode, too. Our only problem is that we didnt get the manual or a brochure with it and I can use it only in automatic mode. I looked for special Pentax shops in our country to get some help, but I couldnt find any.
If anybody could help me, to put me in the picture in connection with its usage, modes, perfect setting or knows a web- page where I could get any information about this Pentax mz-10 I would thank him very much.
Best regards,

| Thoughts | I bought my MZ-10 as a backup body for my MZ-5, and also because I wanted a camera for more general photography. Family, hollidays, travelling... mostly with print film.
(I use slides in my MZ-5). The MZ-10 is a wonderful performer. Very easy and fast to use. Smart Picture Mode is very handy when working fast. I can concetrate on the subject more than on the camera, just point'n shoot.
Good AF performance, good metering, very easy to swith to aperture priority (just move the aperture ring, whatever mode you're in the camera will switch to aperture priority).
Light and small, very good for travelling. Yeah, I like my MZ-10. It's a really nice camera. Great for beginners and casual snappers, also works well for more advanced users like me.

| Thoughts | I work at Camera World in Charlotte, N.C. After selling the zx 10 to many folks
over the past year, I was able to buy a pristine model on consignment, with a 28-70 and 80-200 Pentax lens. My main reason for buying it was to take advantage of the unique mode changer that is internal with this particular camera. When you are doing candids of people or pets, they don't wait while you flip to a better icon. I look forward to the camera doing the theory while my eye does the composition. I'm very comfortable with the Pentax family. |
