| Pro | Camera is Very Solid and it feels like a steel lock , In RS mode it locks like a Gun and the 10fps are Super Fast. Great Metering and Great ergonomics. |
| Contra | 5 AF Points and Loss of light due to mirror. |
| Thoughts | If you can find one pick it up , it is unique. |

| Pro | 10fps super fast, unbeatable for news and sports. Especially news, as everyone thinks that theyll just get the normal version and then they miss the shot...
Pellicle mirror, means it doesnt move, the shutter has a two stage action, secondary mirror shifts then the wheels of hell are let loose! |
| Contra | Bloody heavy. Cant remove the Battery pack, but if you opt to get some of those stunning (www.ripvan100.com) green batteries, the camera actually performs better then the Nicd pack. |
| Thoughts | Great machine! I bought one of these in preference to the Eos 1n standard after having experienced the RT. Technically theres an issue about it being 2/3 under and the meter is 2/3 over to compensate, truth is, you never even notice it. Pop on a flash and the pellicle mirror brings a totally new meaning to photgraphy -even digital cameras cannot compete with this.
Id reccommend this camera to any serious photographer who needs either speed or the impecable nature of seeing the photo as its being taken, once youve used a pellicle camera youll spend the rest of your life comparing it to all the new crap thats around. |
